Uvalde Country Club is a full-service banquet facility, equipped to accommodate any occasion. We have 4 rooms to choose from; Amistad, Presidents, Dining, Ballroom as well as our Cactus Lounge with a total seating capacity up to 300 guests for the Whole Club House.
The professional staff of the country club welcomes the opportunity to host your Wedding, Rehearsal Dinner, Luncheon, Business or Social Event.
Uvalde Country Club is a member owned club, which requires a deposit of 20% estimated Food and Alcohol Cost, for the facility rental for non-member functions. Uvalde Country Club will abide by all written contracts. Cancellations must be made 90 days prior to the event, any cancellations within 90 days are subject to forfeiture of deposit. Deposits for month of December are non-refundable.
Payments made by Cash, Personal Check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover are welcome.
Food and Beverages – These items must be purchased from Uvalde Country Club with the exception of specialty cakes. The Club Manager will provide you with pricing based upon your food and beverage requests as a part of your contract.
Guarantees – The client is required to give a final guest count 7 days before the event. This is the guaranteed guest count for which the food & beverage order and pricing is based. The client is obligated to pay for the final guest count given. A head count will be made on the day of the event and agreed upon between the Club Manager and client in order to determine the final billing statement.
Gratuity – All food and beverage prices quoted are subject to 20% gratuity charge and are in addition to the prices agreed upon.
Decorations – To enhance your function, arrangements for centerpieces and room decorations, can be made through the Club Manager. You may also decorate yourself or hire an outside source to assist in the process. Access to the facilities prior to your event is subject to availability and must be scheduled through the Club Manager. The Country Club reserves the right to approve all signage and will assist in the placement of signage and banners.
Table Linens – Uvalde Country Club provides White as the default linen color for events unless specified by host. White, ivory or black tablecloths can be provided for your event at no extra charge. You may also choose from white, ivory, or black napkins at no extra cost.
Specialty Colors on linens and napkins can be arranged and ordered through Club Management but are subject to availability and additional charges. For specialty colors Uvalde Country Club will need to have your selection at least two weeks in advance of your party or meeting.
Charger Plates – Silver, gold and red charger plates add an elegant touch to your table settings. Chargers subject to availability.
Table and Chair Rentals – If additional seating is necessary for the banquet, beyond that of current Club ownership, that rental cost will be added to your statement.
Music – All entertainers must make arrangements with the club prior to set-up. All inside music must stop at midnight and outdoor settings at 10 pm due to the City of Uvalde Noise Ordinance.
Wedding Services – Our facility may be converted into a Wedding Service atmosphere. Actual charges for set-up and conversion back will be incurred.
Wedding Cakes – Wedding cakes may be brought into the Club with prior arrangements made between you and the Club Manager. We will gladly cut and serve your cake for a $50.00 charge.
Coat Check – Coat Check services are available. If additional temporary employees are needed, beyond our club associates, you will be charged accordingly.
Damage Policy – The cost of Club property that is damaged, destroyed or removed from the premises by the meeting or banquet attendees will be assessed to the client. An assessment is necessary for damage to any Club facility or property beyond ordinary wear and use that can reasonably be attributed to a meeting or banquet function. Clean-up costs which are excessive and beyond that of a normal banquet function may also be assessed.
